This depends a lot on the poker room, but in our case for affiliates of 9am.com (Nine.com Poker) we do not deduct the bonuses from your commissions and swallow this as a marketing expense.
This is how the 150% player bonus works:-
150% FIRST TIME DEPOSIT BONUS. This promotion is for limited time, although no finishing date has been set. Check the details here below:
– ONLY for first time depositors
– It will apply ONLY to those deposits of $100 or LESS.
– It will be credited to players who deposit via direct deposit ONLY
– The bonus is credited to the bonus account in the poker room
– Customers must win 10 POP points per every dollar in bonus they want to redeem. ie 150 bonus equals 1500 POP points.
– A player earns 1 POP point for every 10 cents he contributes to the rake in any given hand.
– Once the required amount of POP points is reached, the bonus is credited to the poker account as cash.
