Free speech? What does free speech have to do with copyrighted material? Nothing, with the exception that you have the right to write whatever you want if it is original.
Anything that is written that is original is considered copyrighted as soon as it is written. There is no justification or argument to using it without permission. It is theft. Do not do it.
