I would like to post to say I am in full support of Mario and feel he is doing a fantastic job. During my time at VIP as their manager as well as other programs I have helped run I have found a large number of affiliates sending illegite traffic through CPA, and this is extremely costly and harmful for the brands.
These CPA scams have created bad taste within affiliate managers as well as affiliates mouths, and many programs are wary of CPA deals. Starbet – your traffic may be legite and for this reason I apologise but please understand the affiliate managers problem.
I feel Mario did what any affiliate manager would have done and that was to investigate the source of the traffic to determine whether it is legite. Echo of what the Professor said – In many past cases these CPA deals have been fraudulent and traffic sent from a network of buddies and/or an offer site stating ‘Get FREE Cash’ or reward sites encouraging people to open accounts (deposit smaller amounts than the CPA paid to the affiliates).
Remember a true affiliate will always true revenueshare over CPA!
