Bugger – I had just written a very long post and my browser crashed … now it simply is too much effort to rewrite it at this time of the night :plain:

The lies, the insults the bullshit that they are trying to feed us is unreal. I know that the other programs also tried some stunts, but at least they kept contact with us.. if not in the forums.. then personally by email.. referback seem to have stopped that as well (Especially after trying to bribe a few affiliates with special offers that backfired on them – respect to those affiliates that turned them down )

Here is a part of an answer I got to my last email…

I have ALWAYS been frank with you. My job is not to cover something up or pull the wool over your eyes.

Decisions were made … not to screw the affiliate over, but with good intentions. Remember that this also helps the smaller affiliates at having a decent chance to make money without the intimidation of the bigger affiliate.
The truth is that I think the t&c’s were way to complicated and communication from ReferBack has not been great!

Taking into consideration all the retention as well as reactivation promotions, if a customer is INACTIVE for 6 MONTHS on the GROUP of casinos chances are he/she is really not interested in being a casino player. Remember that this rule applies to Casino at this point and the opportunity here is that all affiliates are now able to re-acquire these lapsed players which widens the fishing pond considerably.

I understand that many affiliates are making a noise out there which is undoubtedly stirring emotions. I ask you to look beyond the noise and ask me anything more which you need clarity on.

I also never bothered to respond to that – that was about the 8th email to and fro. So, obviously there was no way of getting anywhere ….

I explained my feeling on the 6 months clause in every single email and then i got that.. unreal.

OK – so it turned out sort of long :)

Anyway – to sum up.

All the other programs knew the first day after they made the changes that they made a mistake -they tried to justify it for a while, but anybody that ever spoke to them knew that they also knew there was a problem… not referback.

Referback has also had a lot of problems in the ast with their partners.. anybody remember the cookie issue? How long did that take?

Sorry – but for me they are history.

Slowly working through our sites removing every last link :hmmm:
