Technically, it relates to one or more of the MGS programs. I have been assured that the message is being communicated to them, as I have indicated that if I do not hear anything announced publicly, I will proceed with my “name and shame” newsletter issue.
Once they have made an announcement, they are expected to also announce a deadline for reaching a decision, and I have indicated that this should not be more than one week.
The “name and shame” will then wait one week pending a resolution. If either “deadline” is not met, I proceed with “name and shame” – and then I will finish gathering the information necessary to take legal action.
They will then be warned that once legal action is initiated, it cannot be stopped in many jurisdictions, and the embarassment of a legal case against them will cause them irreparable damage, not to mention any last chance of showing sincerity in dealing with their “partners”.
I have been assured that they are taking this seriously and that they realize legal action is not of benefit to either side – and while some of you think they may have deep pockets, you might not have realized that the affiliates – who earn income from other programs as well – will have a much larger sum at their disposal if we even get a reasonable percentage of affiliates pledging a bit to help.
I believe they realize they are definitely on the short end of the stick. And as one falls, they will all follow like dominoes, trust me.
Now let’s see how serious they are about addressing this issue, or at least announcing that they are further looking into the situation. It’s not a problem for me to name and shame them if they think they want to call my “bluff”.
Don’t worry. I am not letting up on the pressure. And I urge all of you to maintain a very strong stance in not supporting any of these programs in ANY manner whatsoever, in case they get any wise ideas.
