I’ve noticed that I get about 2.3 cents per hand played on Absolute. Not sure if this is good or bad. I’ll check other rooms and see about there. What are you guys/gals averaging per hand played?

This is something that I brought up a couple of months ago.

Contrary to the terms and conditions set forth, Revenue is actually being calculated some other way.

2.6 “Net Revenue” is calculated as the sum total of all players’ contribution to all “rakes” the players were involved in while playing at Absolute Poker, minus chargebacks, rake contributions by prop players or any uncollectable revenue attributable to the Player. Moreover, a Player’s contribution to the “rakes” shall be determined as the quotient obtained when dividing the actual amount of each rake to which the Player had contributed divided by the total number of players at the table at the start of the hand. So, if the rake in a hand with ten players at the table is three dollars ($3.00), each player’s contribution to the rake will be thirty cents ($0.30).

Our players currently accrue $.095 of revenue per hand played.

To test your stats, run an ‘Accounts Report’, and for each account listed just take total Revenue reported, and divide by # of hands reported. When I do this, every single figure is near $.095 per hand. There will be some deviation from this # due to the fact that a player can earn revenue via Tournament Fees. I have several players who do not play tournaments at all, and their Revenue/hand calculation comes to precisely $.095/hand.

Revenue has been calculated this way since AP has been working with IncomeAccess. All I’m asking is that the Terms and Conditions match up with reality.

Currently, we earn the same commission from a .02/.04 player as we do a $50/100 player. That seems somewhat … broken, to me. :eh:
