I think they give you 50 megs of free web space, and no popups or banners at all. They politely ask you to place a small text link they have at the bottom of each of your pages and if you don’t comply with that and they catch you, they will disable that account. They don’t force that link there but trust you to put it there.
They have also a site builder that is very easy to use.
If you’re using a free site, I prefer that one. I really hate being forced to have popups/banners or any ads. None here.
