Many, many don’t like godaddy. There are many options, they are just who I use and haven’t had any trouble.
Yes to your other question. You build the site on your computer, find a host and transfer the files to the host.
One last thing. There are no stupid newbie questions. If some of the folks here hadn’t answered my own similar questions, I would have given up a long time ago.
Ok, i’ll check these things out
I just got off the phone with aplus, they again told me my site is working fine, what a bunch of idiots.
I can’t even log in to my control panel, they even ripped me off on the e-mail service too, all my e-mails registered to my site are bouncing back as undeliverable.
What a nightmare
Dee made a good point about paying a year in advance, but i’ve been using the lycos.tripod free service, like this site i have been working on
http://theluckylooter.tripod.com
and my only concern at the time was knowing i could use the site builder, which was the same as the lycos one.
I will check out Dee’s service, hopefully she gets commission if i join.
Pokermongor, i like that guy’s site because it has impact, it has a nice shine to it, like a new car.
*note
that site i created is primarily for amusing my buds, it should not be taken seriously, this is the only place i’ve put a link to it, just to give an example of the trellix builder and the layout/design options.
