I read with some interest their recently touted certification from a company called Technical Systems Testing, or TST. However, if you read the entire press release, here’s the relevant portion:

Quote:
TST had verified through mathematical and statistical analysis, that within a ninety-five percent (95.0%) confidence level, G-Fed Games RNG distributes numbers with sufficient non-predictably, fair distribution and lack of bias to particular outcomes. (the ninety-five percent confidence level is a documented level of confidence for such statistical analysis)

That’s great, but verfying that an RNG is random doesn’t mean squat about the integrity of the games. TST offers a full software verification, so GFed had to decide to go for the meaningless RNG certification instead. It’s a real shame. For the brief time I advertised a GFed casino, conversions were great. But I still don’t trust the software. Maybe a new owner will revamp the software and get a respected authority to vouch for the fairness of the games.

On another note, what’s up with TST’s website at http://www.tstglobal.com anyway. Their domain is now occupied by one of those generic search spam pages, which is apparently a very recent development, as Google still has the real site in the cache. Whois also says TST still owns the domain.
