I know of late there has been some confusion in the presentation/interpretation of our new affiliate agreement. I want to clarify again that PartyPoker.com has always respected and protected the affiliates’ interests and affiliates are indeed very important for us.
The new agreement only applies to the affiliates who have signed up after 23rd of May 2005 and for all the affiliates who have signed up before that the old agreement holds good. And the only difference between the new and the old agreement is the tracking of inactive real money players (inactive for more than 60 days).
Clarification – Real money players will be tracked to the affiliate for life, even if they become inactive.
Other issues raised
Play money players older than 60 days –
I have already clarified in my earlier post. This is not a recent change and this has been a part of the affiliate agreement for over a year. Play money players are currently locked in with the original referring affiliate, but we intend to provide more flexibility on this soon to benefit affiliates who can assist players who have difficulties with their first deposit.
Termination clause –
This is a standard clause which has been the part of our affiliate agreement since the start.
I again reiterate the fact that old affiliates won’t be affected in anyway with the recent changes introduced in the affiliate agreement.
