I luv backgammon, it’s a great game to play offline, but not online. The backgammon software is just to good these days and anyone could use it – pokerbots are a long way off the backgammon software.
This problem applies to many games but hopefully the pokerbots will take a long time to catch up to the best players. They might be able to eek out a profit in small/medium game but I think the big games will be a harder nut to crack – I guess we’ll find out how good they really are at this years pokerbot championships.
