Fair enough, I did interpret your slap as far from funny – if you meant it as a joke, we’ll chalk it up to that and leave it alone. Yes, everybody knows you here, and no … nobody thinks you are an asshole. Of course I’m going to take a public slap in the face seriously. In my opinion the tone of your email is not that of a joking tone, so I think many would agree that it does not appear to be a joke.
As for the previous owners’ situation: I’m sorry, but I just don’t believe that they stopped paying affiliates and locked all the player accounts because they just got fed up. I think we all know about the blast of bonus whores they got hit by. I don’t think you are lying to me, I have no question that you got on the phone and spoke with them directly and that you were told what you are saying.
I’m also not speaking about the personal wealth of the previous owners and I honestly have no idea about that. I can only comment on the fact that you guys were not being paid (both affiliates and players – I call this a troubled casino – hence my original comment that started this dialogue) until we purchased the company and paid everybody. You can call us knights in shining armor if you want, I did not say that.
As for the sub affiliate mapping situation: This is not a call that I have made personally. This is a decision made at the top that I am simply passing along to you. Obviously, such a call would come from somebody who has been with the company much longer than myself, who has a full understanding of the architecture of our systems and therefore understands the scope of its ability and conversely its limitations.
