A few clarifications –
Play money players older than 60 days –
PartyPoker.com’s position is that if a player has not made a deposit for 60 days, another affiliate who convinces the player to make a deposit should receive credit for the player. This clause was introduced in the contract in early 2004 in order to facilitate quick cash transfers to players who sought assistance from affiliates. We try to manage possible abuse of this by monitoring play money chats to prevent affiliates from poaching players from other affiliates
This is not a recent change to the contract and has been a part of the agreement for over a year. PartyPoker.com has never moved out players from an affiliate, even if the players are older than 60 days, ever during this period and has no intention of doing so in the future.
Affiliate players are currently locked in with the original referring affiliate, but we intend to provide more flexibility on this soon to benefit affiliates who can assist players who have difficulties with their first deposit.
Clarification regarding changes in the Affiliate Agreement –
We recognize and understand the fact that there are concerns related to some of the other clauses.
We are looking into the same and should get back with an amendment / clarification soon.
