That is exactly what my friend ended up booking, the Fairwind including a flight at a great discount.
I don’t think there are any dumps in South Beach, but there are places without ocean view and such. It probably has small rooms without view.
Since you likely will not be spending any time there it doesn’t matter anyway.
You guys can share taxies when needed…. but you are only a few blocks from Loews.
