While I’m certain BJinfo can tell you for sure, I think that Crypto goes about half way into a shoe consisting of …. I want to say 4 decks, but I might be wrong on that.
This is some really old stuff and for that matter, may have never been right.
I haven’t played BJ at any Cryptologic in a long time because quite frankly, its still not the kind of situation that is showing a counter enough cards to be enjoying the “sweet spots” – imho – but last I remember … I’m pretty sure the dealer went into the shoe for quite a few hands before it shows the shoe is being reshuffled.
I hope there’s some kind of merit to the above, or I’m gonna feel pretty foolish….. again.
