I agree with the above comments, and I you should listen to all of the above.
Another way I would change your site to make it clearer to read would be to have the middle (content) background in white and your text in black.
For your links on the left, you should also consider changing the link color to white or otherwise so its easier to see
Also reduce the font, it always a good move to check out what the site will look like on different screen sizes.
The more confusing you make the site on the user to clearly navigate around the less affective it will be there.
I like the URL, and if you remove teh scolling and the neon green (its a poker review site so why not poker green) you will be on your way.
