I would encourage you to totally rethink your perspective. The time you invest in your site is worth so much more than any money you could afford to spend on it. A week’s worth of your time could easily be worth more than $2000.
So my advice? Forget about spending any money on your site at all, and instead spend your time building content, and making your site attractive and easy to use. I’m making my living from my websites now, making more than I’ve ever made before in my life. And the amount of money I’ve spent marketing them? $zero

I’m also not convinced that 1000 clicks for $100 is that great a deal, depending on how much revenue you think you’re going to make for each visitor. My gaming site gets 1000 visitors every 2.5 days. If I were paying for all that traffic at 10 cents a click I’d be spending $1200 a month. That’s more revenue than I make from that particular site. It wouldn’t be cost-effective.
Your time is your greatest asset. It dwarfs your ad budget, even if your ad budget was $1000 instead of $100. I encourage you to invest your time in your site.
