Firstly, Thanks for your clarifying post Spearmaster.
Just to explain in more detail what happened as it seems there is some misunderstanding…
We targeted two groups of affiliates in an effort to re-establish contact and to find out if these affiliates are still interested in working with us.
•The first group that was mailed has never logged in since they opened an account with us
•The second group has not logged in for at least 6 months or longer
Again – it was not our intention to offend or threaten anyone and our sincere apologies if it was perceived as such.
LasVegasLady – I’m sorry if you misunderstood the communication we had with Spearmaster. I assure you that none of the individual affiliates in any of these groups had ANY movement in their accounts, or player earnings for an extensive period. Should new earnings arise, we will honor our agreement with affiliates, and pay any and all earnings due. We never have, and never will close any accounts with ongoing player movement, unless there was a direct breach of our T&C’s. These communications were aimed at dormant accounts, in an effort to re-establish contact.
Islandman – your suggestion of rather enticing affiliates is a good one, and we will try this with these groups.
I agree with both Spearmaster and Islandman – the content of the mail could have been more tactful. Spearmaster is in fact a well respected member of the industry, and has accepted our apologies.
Overall – we had a very positive response to the exercise and from here onwards we hope to build new relationships with these affiliates.
I trust this issue is now resolved.
