Hi everyone
I understand that there has been some questions regarding our program in this thread. Let me clarify certain things on what is happening to the affiliate program at PokerRoom.com as well as what have been the stand in the past.
You are absolutely correct that affiliates have not received revenues (or been credited for losses) for their customers in the casino-part of PokerRoom.com. The reasons/explanations for this are several. 1) Poker is the main business of PokerRoom.com and its customers 2) I think by offering affiliates the best deals in terms of poker revenues for their customers, we have emphasized this as we focus on poker, we give the incentives to affiliates and their customers to do the same as well as the fact that we never do marketing for our casino-part 3) Due to resources have been scarce on the development side as well within the affiliate management, casino has not been integrated into the program.
However, this will now change as of 4th of May this year, casino will be integrated into the affiliate program. Once it has been launched, I will happily explain what makes PokerRoom.com’s affiliate program the best and fairest in the industry.
Regarding life-time vs 3-year rule of compensation/revenues for a referred customer, we do have a 3-year rule in place from time of first deposit made by a customer. I think this also fair as other programs, can terminate your payments for referred customers within 60 days, if you have not met their requirements.
Please get back to me with your feedback on the above and what you feel about it as my and PokerRoom.com’s intention is to have a partnership rather than a referrer program with our affiliates. I, as the affiliate manager at PokerRoom.com, will try my very best to meet your demands, listen to you, assist you, as you are extremely important for me and our business.
Yours sincerely
Edward Ihre
