I as the affiliate manager for Bingoreward.com am always interested in hearing what the affiliates have to say about comparative software platforms.

I was a little surprised to to hear Tryme1’s bad experience with Leapfrog gaming sites as this is definitely not the general consensus I hear. To be fair I did an exercise and took all the purchasing players on Geisha Bingo yesterday and aged them according to registration date.

This is way I came out with:

Players older than 1 year: 25%
Players between 6mths – 1 year: 35%
Players between 3mths – 6 mths: 20%
Players less than 3mths: 20%

That is 60% of players are older than 6 mths, and nearly 50% of those are older than a 12 mths. Seems pretty impressive to me.

I think it is very important to have a big enough sample when testing player values and retention rates. I am not sure how this compares to other bingo platforms, but I can tell you from my experience with Casinos, that any casino out there would die for stats that looked like these.

Affiliate revenue from casinos is traditionally dependant on 1 or 2 big VIPs, with the majority of the players delivered being abusers and smaller guys, that no one makes any money out of. Bingo is a different market, with money being made from each player for alot longer, no big swings but alot more consistent and reliable. I feel in the end of the day you will be still collecting the commission checks from your bingo sites long after the whales have dropped off from the casinos.

Let me know your thoughts.
