Ok, some of these comments do really piss me off now.
There was a stink about my supposedly charging Casino Coins something for being a liason, which was a lie made up by Cindy on a Friday when no one from Casino Coins could be reached for comment until the following Wednesday because of a Canadian holiday. At that point Casino Coins thought it the wiser not to get between me and Cindy – in the middle of an altercation. To this day I have not forgiven John Hartley or Rod for this – after listening to Rod talking about integrity in Montreal for two days straight and the cowards were too scared to come forth and tell the truth. Integrity my axx. I wasn’t charging for being a liaison. Cedrik was leaving Casino Coins and I was supposed to help John by being available by phone and helping getting him trained – Cedrik only had a couple days with him. I did this, for pay, and to this day they owe me $1000 for work performed. In case it interests you – it really has nothing to do with the price of sardines in Katmandu.
My income at Focal fluctuates along with my whales. It is not as good as most other places I push, and some months it is downright lousy. I am not one of their star affiliates by a very long shot, and I have never been paid a penny for anything that I didn’t earn as comission by them. Last conference in Vegas I didn’t even “qualify” for dinner, which annoyed me. I am actually not on good footing with them, and I have removed most of their banners because they have not performed for me lately.
I am just unable to sit here and watch injustice being done. When someone is hellbent on driving a place out of business with which they haven’t even done any type of business in excess of a year, something is wrong. There is a vendetta going on, and I just am not one to sit by and watch some sort of revenge going down. I have performed my own tests this year, stretched over several months and including retention and players returning after long inactivity, and the tests went perfectly.
I have no idea who votes at Online Gambling Magazine, but it is widely respected. I personally have never voted there and don’t even read it.
Focal is one of the few programs where I see immediate response in my stats to what I do as far as promotion. If I give them a push, I see it. If I take them down, I see it. There are a lot of programs where I never see much difference one way or another, especially when they are used to see little or no performance from me. I consider the fluctuations I experience at Focal a testament to their honesty.
I don’t defend Focal because they are my best program, they are not even among my good ones. I do it because they run a tight ship and a good, honest program, and I have spent enough time talking to all kinds of managers and programs to know what goes on in general and in specific. I am a good person to judge this IMO.
If ever they would approach me and want to pay me for consulting, I would take it in a minute flat because I do believe in their integrity. I don’t consult places I don’t think will use the benefits in a manner that serves affiliates well.
And I am sorry, I find some of the stories you tell about them simply unbelievable. It must be misunderstandings, such as that their name is Focal Click and not Point, and that the issue at GPWA was with Casino Coins and not Focal.
