Let me ask you, did you have any specific programs in mind?
Generally speaking the conversion rates for each affiliate can differ quite a bit as it really depends on the type of traffic sent through and the match for the product.
For example, for one merchant site wide the conversion rate might be 2% (click to new customer) but for the affiliate program the average might be 4%. From there the conversion rate can vary greatly from affiliate to affiliate.
