The programs didnt request that the affiliates load 1×1 iframes to install cookies on users computers – that was something the affiliate did … furthermore they were most likely tipped off into knowing that the hole was present in the first place. They knew full well that they would/could be hurting their competitors and in an attempt to hide what they were doing used encrypted coding to hide it from us all …
