The only reason Bush is against abortion and gay marriages is because that garners the vote of the religious. The US is a very religious country, and as has been proven in this recent election, it’s enough to win. Bush doesn’t care about murdering people. He is simply supporting the religious and the extreme right-wing conservatives. Let’s not forget that in the past 100 years, these are the same groups that have supported white supremacy & male supremacy.
Bush will do and say anything to get support so that he can fund his illegal wars, and reap the oil revenue.
With the money that has been spent in Iraq, there could have been enough money to save millions of lives. He could have easily saved the 200 000 children that die every week from preventable dieases in this world, and provided food and clean water for the african continent. It would actually have taken less than 10% of the resources that were wasted in Iraq. With the remainder of those resources he could have pursued fighting the war on terror of which was forgotten for the oil revenues.
Bush is a tyrant and a dictator. Seriously, you cant learn anything from watching television or reading the news. If you want real information, the best method is still by reading books by authorititative and unbiased sources.
