Yes it seems to be similar in that they are trying to capitalize off of your work.

In my case imagine that someone were to take for example the name casinomeister and create a subdomain casinomeister.theirdomain.com and then on that page had casino meister in the title, heading tags, in the text and were obtaining links with the anchor casino meister.

In this case they haven’t really copied path and file names, but are using my brand in an attempt to benefit off of my hard work.

I made a mistake similar to yours a few years back when I registered a dash name with the intent to grab the non-dash version after a few months of testing. Turned out to be big mistake – after I had boasted about the new dashed domains success the non-dash was grabbed up – an experience I learned from. Now every time I develop a “brandable” domain I get both dash and non-dash versions.

As of today this moron still hasnt taken the material down – as I stated before I doubt they will without some intervention ;)
