Ok you guys, you both have a point.

Tobad, it’s just plain easier, safer and more curteous to ask. Always stay on the safe side, all you will do in the process is make a friend out of party poker, which will help you. As a matter of fact, if I was to develop a party poker website I would be talking to them a lot because they would probably be extremely eager to help you make it perfect. They stand to benefit.

Classics, it is true that these terms are public domain. People have been using them forever, they are generic poker terms and no one owns them. I don’t know if they are presented in a specific format that makes it possible to copyright, but the terms themselves are definitely public domain.
