Those rollaways are standard equipment for single family houses in Germany. They are used for insulation at night (people lower them every night) and they are pretty burglar proof also. You can lock them down from the inside and It would take I don’t what to try to cut through those things. They are tough.
I grew up with them and was so surprised that the US didn’t have them everywhere.
