In some cases yes, but the serious player will deposit small first and if they like the room start playing a lot of hours in it.
The newbie players will play for fun or in the freerolls to build up a few $ then play for real money.
The great thing is it’s CONSTANT income and reliable in most rooms. I would have to say well over 1/2 our income lately is poker and it increases steadily every single month. If it keeps going at this rate, in a year or so we’ll be VERY well off just from poker.
