None of this is illegal or legal. There’s a huge grey area. Basically it’s going along with how comfortable you are with legal and criminal liability. In the past sportsbooks have been targetted by the US government more so than casinos, so it’s safer to just promote casinos. Meanwhile if you have a private label casino you’re giving people the impression that you own that casino, therefore your liability goes up significantly.
