Yeah, text links work: Remember the google bomb for “miserable failure”? – that brings up in #1 position a site that doesn’t have either word in the meta tags or content.
I have an idea, lets test this theory, link to casinogeek.net with the anchor text “send this woman money” 
See if the geek site doesn’t come up on a search for that in a while.
