that one is particularly nasty. a buddy of mine got that one and had it re-writing the google serps.
he got rid of it by using “hijackthis”
i also had some nasty spyware sometime back … and i too downloaded the hijackthis program, but due to the icon you use to execute this, i was more scared of the hijackthis program than the spyware.
however my buddy assured me after he used it, that it’s safe…. but he said be careful and read all the instructions it gives you.
(the executable icon is a picture of some explosives and a detonator)
… in the end, because I was too scared to use hijackthis, I used Norton A.V. 2004 and it worked great.
