Keep it. Geolocation can work both ways. The further toward localization the engines go, the less it is worth. The more they ignore the .tld, the more that the domain would be worth… and the poker one would certainly be worth more than the online-casino.com one the guy is trying to sell for six figures.
Both poker.com and poker.net are in the top ten even though they have not very good seo.
Selling it for $3000 would be crazy. By the end of the year it could be worth $1000 or $100,000+.
One disclaimer… I don’t know if the engines have an extreme prejudice against .cn domains in that they presume they should have chinese characters on them. If that is the case, you might have to wait a long time until some online poker cardrooms start appearing in Chinese…
