I totally agree with you about small sites. Was just discussing this with Antoine minutes ago. This seems like the best way to go right now. Too much content and pages is not worth the time it takes to build and maintain it seems.
How long is it taking for Yahoo to spider you and get you listed? I’m impatient so anything more than 4-6 weeks has me screaming.
