Good question Arkyt. Not everyone who applies is accepted and I turned down three programs last week. The basic criteria is that they be recognized as a quality program with a track record of working with Affiliate Partners for success. They agree to allow CAP to assist webmasters with any issues that might arise and to address concerns in a timely manner. And last but not least there is a monthly listing fee to help us maintain our community here.
I dont masquerade as a club or association. I don’t charge dues to guests or members of CAP, so we have to keep the lights on some how without me paying all the light bills. Hope that helps.
