Hi,

thanks for the enlightenment Prof.

I suppose I was thinking in terms of gpwa. It brought in (I thought) somewhere around a $150 a month per aff program that held a thread. and then I’m sure there was a little bit in ad revenue but what I thought was the bigger revenue of all was the benefit of traffic it brought by.

I know she got some traffic because of the benefit of the huge amount of linked sites and in fact; we talked about it one day. I had mentioned to her that (if it was possible; since I am not knowledgeable about such things) but that she should put some kind of cookie on the webmaster’s that were joined; which would exclude them from a campaign of pop-ups to launch on that traffic which was player traffic; that happened upon there either by following a link from one of our sites; or by SE traffic which ended up there by mistake due to it ranking high with several terms which weren’t high volume deals; but combined she was getting enough of such traffic to make it worthy of doing what I afore mentioned.

Heck, I’d almost think it would be worth doing because of the shavers maybe deciding they didn’t want to shave somebody in a position to influence a lot of webmasters who are big in our field.

thanks for setting me straight.
