Hello Ponomo and welcome to CAP
I have done offline marketing through a number of channels with varrying degrees of success.
I did radio advertising which was very expensive and produced very little Return on Investment. Even though I focused on Talk and Sports radio I think most people listen while driving or working and therefore dont access your site when they hear your spots.
I tried small regional newspapers like thrifty nickel and local shoppers. This didnt pan out well either. I think the wrong demographics read these type of publications.
USA Today – Another expensive bust.
CD mailers – very expensive and little ROI unfortunately. If you are going to do CDs I suggest handing them out personally.
Another inexpensive thing to do offline is leave business cards around whenever you go the bank (drive through tellers) , Gas station, Restaurants and especially bars. I picked up this trick from my good friend the Captain and its cheap and does produce a few players here and there.
Hopefully others will post some ideas too…
Good Luck
