Damn, I worked in the hospitality industry for a number of years at the Hilton but never came across such a mess as that in some 400 major functions.
Methinks the initial enquiries might have been along the lines of….”hey we got 200 members coming and we want to book a floor”.
To which the sales guy would be smacking his lips…until he found out it was only a handful.
