Miami, FL (PRWeb) September 11, 2008 — ( today announced that season two of its Best Damn Poker Show will air on FSN beginning October 27th, 2008. Filming of the ultimate reality poker television series is currently underway at the San Manuel Resort and Casino in California.

The second season of Best Damn Poker Show aims to discover which one of two of the world's best poker players — Phil Hellmuth or Annie Duke — can better teach the game and transform ordinary online poker players into champions.

But it's not entirely about head-to-head battles and personality clashes between the two titans. If history repeats itself, the real stars of the show will be the 18 players battling for first place.

On August 15th, signed Tracy Scala, the winner of the first Best Damn Poker Show tournament, to its newly created Star Players Team. Participants in the second season are hoping for a similar fortune.

Much like the first season of Best Damn Poker Show, online poker players at competed for a spot on the show by creating and submitting an audition video that highlighted why they deserved to be on the innovative poker reality series. Many of the user-submitted videos can be seen on YouTube. The online poker site also invited Texas Hold'em fans to take part in a series of qualifying poker tournaments that paid out spots on the show.

New for the sophomore season was a live audition process that took place in Las Vegas at this year's World Series of Poker where producers had access to the thousands of talented Texas Hold'em fans who were in town for the world's biggest poker tournament.
