In 1994, legislators in the small Caribbean passed the Free Trade & Processing Act. This simple piece of legislation opened the door to regulated gambling for the first time ever. Antigua would eventually pay a price for supporting online gambling but back in ’94, their future was so bright, they had to wear shades.
