New Speakers, Sessions Announced for iGaming Super Show

April 23, 2010 (CAP Newswire) – New speakers and sessions are being announced for the iGaming Super Show, and the way that details are coming together for the event, it just might live up to its hype as the “biggest online gaming conference ever”.

Taking place in Prague from May 23 to May 28, the iGaming Super Show is a new concept in the online gambling affiliate marketing world: “to create a comprehensive show for what has become an established global industry,” states the official website of the event. “The show will be completely free of charge for all attendees, and will include multiple networking events, high level conference streams and the biggest exhibition the industry has ever seen.”

“We believe the majority of the industry has been around long enough that you don’t need another session on ‘Poker and Its Opportunities’ but instead want to know about expanding your business, lessons from outside the sector and other valuable subjects,” writes Alex Pratt from iGaming Business, chief organizer of the event. “As a result, we can promise a programme full of thought provoking content – there will be something for everyone whether you are an affiliate, operator, vendor or regulator.”

So far, more than 40 speakers have been enlisted to speak at the event. Perhaps the most buzz-worthy name on the list is Joe Brennan Jr, the chairman of iMEGA who’s at the forefront of the many legal fights online gambling currently faces. It’s Brennan’s organization that’s doing most of the legal heavy lifting in the Kentucky online poker domain name case; it will be interesting to hear what he has to say about the legal situation in the U.S.

Some more noteworthy speakers:
• Mark Irvine, Chief Operating Officer, Betplus.it
• Roger Parkes, Head of Regulatory Compliance, Betfair
• Jez San, CEO, PKR
• Andre Wilsenach, Alderney Gambling Control Commission
• Ralph Tegtmeier, CEO, Fantomaster
• Melanie Brenner, Poker Voters
• Rob Kerry, Head of Search, Ayima Ltd
• Krisztina Tihanyi, Account Manager for Hungary, Everest Affiliates
• Robin Le Prevost, Alderney eGambling

Six conference tracks have also been announced: “Affiliate Marketing”, “Opportunities in iGaming”, “Regulatory Trends & Policies”, “Strategies That Work”, “Global Legal Update”, and “Financial Analysis”. There’s also a special online gambling domain name auction scheduled; more on that here.

Other highlights include a Speaker Q&A series with European legislation experts; FREE Conversion Surgery from Stephen Pavlovich, Director of Conversion Factory; and, of course, tons of parties. In fact, parties and networking events are scheduled for every night of the event; plus, there’s the exclusive Calvin Ayre launch party to kick things off.

The event has a travel partner (Flight Centre Business Travel) to offer free help and assistance to attendees, with the goal of making getting there relatively easy (notwithstanding any lingering effects from Europe’s current flight blackout, which already shows signs that it’ll soon be over). The Hilton Prague is the show’s official hotel, but organizers warn that it’s almost fully booked. Click here for travel details and info on how to grab some of the last rooms.
