February 3, 2010 (CAP PR Wire) — One of Everest Poker’s most popular European promotions is back! The poker room announced the fourth edition of the Everest Poker European Cup (EPEC) which will run from February to April with a live final in May.
The EPEC is one of Everest Poker’s flagship promotions which offers amateur and novice players an opportunity to experience live poker play for the first time in one of Europe’s largest freerolls.
This year, the EPEC continues to support amateur players across Europe but with an added twist of allowing participants to represent their country through a 15-person team competition during the live final. Fifteen nations will each qualify a 15-person team through online and live qualifiers to win their share of the €100,000 prize pool all for free.
Live events will take place across Europe throughout March and April and online qualifiers will take place on www.everestpoker.com from February to April 2009, culminating in a three-day live final tournament in a sunny European resort in May, as is the tradition with all EPEC finals. Each €2,000 EPEC Live Finale Package includes a seat to the €100,000 Everest Poker European Cup live final, hotel stay, event activities and travel expenses.
Thousands of Europeans have already enjoyed Everest Poker’s exclusive EPEC promotions and the 2010 edition promises to be just as fun and exciting as its predecessors.
