CalvinAyre.com to Live Blog British Poker Awards

September 9, 2010 (CAP PR Wire) — The countdown to the first annual British Poker Awards is now in full swing and is capturing the imagination of the UK’s poker playing public and a host of media channels who are lining up to cover the event.

The team at CalvinAyre.com have announced that they will be at the Kensington Close Hotel on Monday, September 13th to provide up-to-the-minute coverage of all the action, award winners and celebrity guests on their tablog.  In addition, the Calvin Ayre film crew will be on set to provide exclusive footage from the event.

The awards ceremony will honour the game’s top achievers in a number of categories, including Best Overall Poker Player, Best Cash Player, Best Tournament Player, Best Online Player and Best UK Card Room.

The ceremony will be co-compered by poker ‘magician’, Antonio Esfandiari and London Poker Festival Organiser, Michael Caselli who welcomed the announcement from CalvinAyre.com.  “The London Poker Festival is in full swing and we’re all really looking forward to the first ever British Poker Awards – it will be one of the stand-out nights of the whole month,” he explained.
