Japan Moves Towards Legalized Gambling
Gamblers have long known that you shouldn’t leave money sitting on the table, and a growing number of Asian governments are realizing the same thing. That’s one of the reasons Japan is looking seriously at legalizing gambling. After all, they’re losing plenty of money to Singapore, Macau and Las Vegas when big-time whales fly off for a gambling junket.That, and serious national debt, is why the country is seriously looking at building the kinds of mega-resorts that are more and more common in Asia.
While gambling online has always been legal, so long as the site is based offshore, there’s never been a lot of Japanese language sites, so this market is very undeveloped.
