Bodog Opens Asian Poker Room
One of the reasons Calvin Ayre has never worried much about losing his toehold in the American market because he’s got a whole foot in the Asian market. Early this year he launched Bodog88, a new series of gaming sites aimed squarely at Asian players. (We’d love to show you a screen shot, but Americans can’t look at it. Thanks DOJ.)
Bodog’s thrown a fair amount of promotional muscle at the project and is sponsoring events and professionals across the Pacific Rim. They’re making a very impressive run through this market and will likely remain a major player throughout.
