Good start for a new site my suggestion would be as follows :
- don’t run for back links . just make few good ones ( which make sense about linking relevance )
- keep your index fresh with updated content . like adding some good useful pages.
- Keep sharing as much on social sites . so that what info you are providing should have a good social sharing.
- Just keep some basic on page stuff good . like no stuffing of keywords or tags .
