I wont finger the MGS casino but I’m a VIP. On the 1’st of each month I receive a bespoke cash-back deal. Normally the Operations Director tallies up what’s owed and credits my account.
A few months ago he was away and the Pitboss sorted my bespoke. When I received the email, he’d listed the calculations. Normally I wouldn’t receive this, I’d just get a flat $ value.
The point to all this, bonuses had been deducted from total losses and my bespoke % worked out on the remaining figure.
Thing is though, all these bonuses (for that month) were never cashed out; I lost everything I deposited and the bonus comps too.
Apart from a 15% fee which MGS slaps on all bonuses and maybe another 5% max for other fees, the casino did not lose these bonuses as claimed.
Using Double Entry Bookkeeping, clearly shows these bonuses are being (when lost back to the casino) claimed as losses by MGS casinos. When in fact, each bonus debit clears each bonus credit when lost back to the casino.

NB – Keep in mind the deposit is lost as well as the bonus too.
Another way of looking at this:
- Bob gives Bill $50
- Bill returns $50 to Bob
- Neither Bob nor Bill have gained or lost $50
However it seems MGS casinos regardless if the players loses or withdrawal a bonus, all MGS casinos are deducting bonuses from Gross Gaming Revenue. Effectively taking a double dip on money they have already received back, which it turn reduces Net Gaming Revenue which affiliate commissions are calculated on.
Least to say when I pointed this fact out to the Operation Director (where I get my VIP bespoke), all future cash-backs were paid without deducting bonuses which were not withdrawn.
I have now started studying all my MGS affiliate accounts to see if I’m also being cheated by these phantom Gross Gaming Deductions.
So far I have spotted numerous questionable deductions. Could this be why I’m seeing an increase in bonus value % given to my depositing players? In some instances these bonuses are exceeding 45%.
Reiterating, if these bonuses are being lost back to the casino, the casino is neither in debit nor credit for each bonus. Each bonus debit is cancelled by each bonus credit returned to the casino.
Edit: These questionable bonus deductions include instances where MGS casinos have given a player a small bonus ($2 – $5). These players did not deposit in a given month and the bonuses were lost back to the casinos. However these have been deducted from Gross Gaming Revenue.
In one month a casino gave out 457 of these bonuses, to players who did not deposit in that month. For each of these player entries, Net Gaming is (-$2 to -$5). Where it should be $0.
We all know the minimum withdrawal at most MGS casinos is $50.
However these negative Net Gaming values are the exact value of the bonus given to these players. So obviously no one withdraw and worse, the casino got them all back BUT deducted them as a loss which put Net Gaming at a negative amount.
Here is one of these accounts:
- Purchase: $0.00
- Gross Gaming Rev: $0.00
- Progressive Fees: $0.00
- Bonus: $2.21
- Net Gaming Rev: -$2.21
In these instances Net Gaming should be $0
On these bonuses to the 457 players I’ve had approx $1,400 falsely deducted from my Net Gaming. Just on these figures I’ve been scammed $420 of my rightful commission.
