My affiliate tags are all coded similar to this:
mydomain.com/goto/casinoname and I also make the casinoname page (no crawl no index), in addition to the link having rel=nofollow too.
To me it looks more professional, not to mention, using a generic link, your giving the casino & or aff program page juice, and your also creating a direct OB (outbound link) too.
I use php to redirect players to the casinos. However you can use many other solutions to do the same thing. However a word of warning, do not use a simple HTML page which utilises the redirect refresh meta tag:
