Actually he inherited a recession, most people overlook the internet bubble bursting. On top of that the military was stripped from the “savings” before him. So Clinton did not really leave Bush in a great shape, the tax reductions Bush did INCREASED federal revenue, just as predicted and we had a strong boom in economy and jobs. Then the SECOND term of Bush there was a major change, a democratic congress led by Pelosi took over control. Hence we saw a vast decline in the Bush ara, also 911 was a financial burdon as well. I cant stand the trillions spent on bailouts, war ext, but Obama has spent more in 3.5 years than Bush did in 8 with demo congress! Democrats want you to rely on goverment, while Republicans simply want everyone to prosper so they do not need to ask for anything from the goverment. Then there are simply people that can not, and this is where you see Conservitives give more to charity over 20 Fold on even the uppermost ranking democrats.
THe country was founded on having the smallest goverment possible, this led to largest change for good in the worlds history that spread across the planet. Now we are supposed to revert back to what we founded the country against in the first place for free ****?
