Without knowing your past experience, it’s hard to say. I think it would be almost like starting from scratch, because the market has changed tremendously just since black Friday hit. Of course many operators have come and gone, and some that have stayed around aren’t doing as well as they were. Some operators are having payment issues for US Affiliates, and issues of that nature.
So I’d say there is a big learning curve, but it is still a very viable market for sure. New affiliates who are willing to put the work in, can make good livings. Not like they could 6 years ago, but it can still be done without question.
So I think the biggest challenge would be to re-educate yourself about the operators, and their current standing on everything from promotions to payment methods. Of course your relationship with AM’s is more important than every before, so establishing that relationship is key. From there it’ll just be hard work
