As a single person operation you have to do everything. But, part of the advantage of working for ourselves is that we get to decide what we want to do.
We all have our ‘hot spots’ – things we like to do, want to do and things we avoid. For me, that may change day by day or month by month.
Somewhere I’ve seen a list of what a typical day should look like. Getting links, learning, reviewing and trying to keep on top of your sites should always be part of that.
Right now, for me that includes looking at stats for a new promotion avenue I’m working on. Part of it means looking to see if I’m getting more traffic from that effort. If not, I experiment, modify and move on.
Everyone surely does things differently.
